CLAAS BELTING FROM WMT BEARINGS, SHREWSBURY
Anyone who reads my blogs on a regular basis sees that I offer good quality generic replacement belts, bearings etc for a wide range of agricultural/horticultural/industrial machinery.
Recently I have been asked to quote for and supply belts to suit Claas machinery and have been rewarded with a number of orders in doing so. My latest orders were for CLAAS 644209 and 667957 and I was able to offer the customer a number of different manufacturers at different prices.
What too many people are unaware of is the fact that most OEM's do not make the products that they sell but because they commission the manufacturer to make large quantities of these parts, they subsequently have their own unique part number stamped on the belt. This ensures that you the customer has to go back to the main dealer to purchase replacements. Equally crafty is the way that a standard belt/bearing etc is made slightly different so that it is unique from similar other parts in the market place. Now this is where they tend to have you by the proverbials.
WMT Bearings can supply a large range of belts/bearings/filters/agri parts as well as vee, wedge, timing and variable speed belts and welcome your enquiries. KUHN BALL BEARING 81101640
As someone who spends a lot of time cross referencing OEM part numbers for future benefit I am always pleased to be able to put my findings to good use and today I received a call asking me to identify and quote for a KUHN double row angular contact ball bearing 81101640. From initial googling there wasnt much on this bearing but eventually I was able to cross reference and give the customer a number of options.

Goldline Bearings Telford
As a former employee of the now closed down Goldline Bearings of Telford, I spent time dealing with a customer base consisting of industrial, agricultural and automotive customers throughout the UK. We were distributors for SKF Automotive, FAG, Timken, Ampep (now SKF), NTN-SNR and we were able to offer our customers bearings for most applications.
Today, three years on I still get telephone calls from former Goldline Bearings customers , many of whom are surprised to learn of the demise of this once proud company. These calls are wide and varied. I have just received a call for a Suzuki gearbox bearing a B22-27 C3 which the customer was looking for and I was able to arrange direct next day delivery to the customer in a matter of minutes.
I have previously blogged about other Japanese gearbox bearings for a Honda.
